Bleach: Versus Walkthrough

Bleach Versus is a fan-made fighting game based on the popular anime and manga series, Bleach. This ninja game features nine characters from the show, sprite graphics from the Nintendo DS game, Jump Super Stars, and two-player mode, allowing two human players to battle each other on the same computer.

The objective of Bleach Versus is to defeat your opponent in a one-on-one fighting match. You can choose to play against a human opponent or against the computer by clicking the tab underneath player two's character select screen. There is no tournament mode in this fighting game, only a single match versus mode. The character that wins the best two out of three matches is victorious.

Bleach Versus uses the keyboard as its control device. Player one uses the WASD keys to move, the G and H keys to attack, the F key to block, and the T key to perform special moves. Player two uses the arrow keys to move, the O and P keys to attack, the I key to block, and the L key to perform special moves. These keys cannot be redefined, so you are stuck with the default controls. If you choose to play this ninja game in two-player mode, you may find this set of controls cumbersome and crowded. Since most keyboards only register between three to six keystrokes, it is possible that some commands may not register as well.

Bleach Versus is a straightforward fighting game. The characters are evenly matched for the most part, with the only exception being special moves. Play as your favorite character, or practice with different characters until you find the one that has the right special move for you. Some stages contain hazards that can damage both you and your opponent. The one advantage that human players have over the computer is dodging these obstacles; the computer almost always runs into them. If you can skillfully dodge your opponent's attacks and hazards, you can score easy wins over AI opponents.

Bleach Versus is a great attempt at a fighting game, but it is fan-made and it shows. Although it is not an official game, fans of the anime or manga may enjoy fighting with their favorite characters in this ninja game.
