Climbing Ninja Walkthrough

Climbing Ninja is a well-made ninja game that captures the beauty of feudal Japan. This ninja game features well-drawn graphics that resemble classic Japanese art, appropriate music, and challenging gameplay.

The objective of Climbing Ninja is to climb to the top of each temple, collecting as many coins as you can along the way. This ninja game has two difficulty levels: Beginner and Master. If you are new to this game, I suggest playing on the Beginner difficulty level. Your progress is automatically saved, so you do not have to complete the entire game in one session. Progress made on one difficulty level does not carry over to the other difficulty level, however.

Climbing Ninja is utilizes the keyboard as its control device. The up arrow key is used to climb the rope, and the down arrow key is used to stop. You cannot climb down the ropes in this ninja game. The left and right arrow keys are used to move to the respective side of the rope that you are climbing. This is useful for avoiding hazards and collecting coins. The spacebar is used to jump to a different rope. You will jump to the rope that you are closest to. The rope that you intend to jump to must be on the same side of the current rope that your ninja is one for example, if you are on the rightmost rope, your ninja must be on the left side of this rope to be able to jump to the center rope).

Climbing Ninja features an upgrade shop that you can use to buy extra lives or powerups using the money that you collect. I advise going into each level with at least five lives onigiri). Other powerups are also useful to maximize the number of coins that you collect. To utilize powerups, press the appropriate number key (1-7). The white twin monkey powerup is a great choice for early temples since the monkey can collect coins without taking damage, maximizing the potential loot that you can collect!

Climbing Ninja may not be filled with fights and swordplay, but it is still an entertaining ninja game. If you are up for a straightforward ninjitsu challenge without breaking out a katana or shuriken, then Climbing Ninja is just the game for you!
