Super House of Dead Ninjas Walkthrough

Super House of Dead Ninjas is the sequel to Adult Swim's ninja game, House of Dead Ninjas. Like its predecessor, Super House of Dead Ninjas parodies classic console games and arcade games, and also mimics Nintendo's habit of prefixing the titles of the SNES sequels of NES games with the word "Super".

The goal of Super House of Dead Ninjas is the same as it was in the first House of Dead Ninjas: reach the bottom of the tower alive! On your way to the bottom, you will have to face fearsome foes and avoid deadly traps. Did I forget to mention that you are being timed? That's right, you are only given thirty seconds in this ninja game, so you will have to be quick. You can pick up powerups to reset the timer, but there is still no time to dally! In true homage to classic arcade games, you cannot save your progress at any time. There are checkpoints after every one hundred floors, however, so you will not necessarily have to start from the very beginning the next time that you play.

House of Dead Ninjas parodied 8-bit games, while Super House of Dead Ninjas parodies 16-bit games, thus, it sports superior graphics and sounds. Visual and audio improvements are not the only additions to this ninja game; there is also a huge arsenal of weapons that you have access to! Weapons are unlocked by killing enemies in rapid succession and filling the bar in the upper-left corner of the screen. The next time that you play, you will be able to select the weapons that you wish to use provided that you have unlocked them. Various weapons have their own unique abilities, pros, and cons, so read more about them by hovering your mouse over their icon, and practicing with different weapon combinations to find out what works best for you. Any weapons or upgrades that you unlock will be available the next time that you play this platform game.
